Medicare Savings Programs
The Medicare Savings Programs (MSP) available under MIPPA are administered by the state's Medicaid agency. These programs help consumers pay for Medicare premiums and co-pays. This benefit can save consumers at least $104.90 per month. In the state of Nevada, there are four categories of eligibility.

In addition to the income limits below, resource limits are $7,080 for individuals and $10,620 for couples.
QMBs (Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries)
|Pays for Medicare premiums, co-insurance and deductibles on Medicare covered services.||
Income is at or below 100% of the federal poverty level. Income limits:
Single: $710.00 - $958.00
Married: $1,060.00 - $1,293.00
|SLMBs (Special Low Income Medicare Beneficiaries)||Pays for Medicare Part B premiums.||
Income between 100% - 120% of the federal poverty level. Income limits:
Single: $958.01 - $1,149.00
Married: $1,293.01 - $1,551.00
|QI-1s (Qualifying Individuals)||Pays for Medicare Part B premiums. Note: This program may have limited availability based on funding limitations.||
Income at least 120%, but less than $135% of federal poverty level. Income limits:
Single: $1,1,49.01 - $1,293.00
Married: $1,551.01 - $1,745.00
|QDWIs (Qualified Disabled Working Individuals)
||Pays for Medicare Part A premiums only.||
Income less than 200% of federal poverty level. Income limits:
Single: up to $1,915.00
Married: up to $2,585.00
