Adult Day Care Centers provide an out-of-home place where care and companionship can be provided for seniors or those with disabilities that cannot receive assistance or supervision during the day. In addition to programs designed for the unique needs of these segments, it offers relief to caregivers and allows them to go to work, handle personal business or take a break (respite). The Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada's core programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to reach their full potential. Based on the interests and needs of the boys and girls they serve, clubs offer diverse program activities in five areas: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, The Arts, Sports Fitness and Recreation, and Health and Life Skills. The Las Vegas Senior Tripsters is a non-profit group that specializes in senior friendly travel via bus, plane and ship. Our group is staffed by volunteers (all seniors) who plan and host trips throughout the USA and the world. We plan and run approximately 70 trips per year with about 900 members located throughout the Las Vegas Valley as well as many states.

Adults of all ages in need of functional support attend Adult Day Centers to spend their days in a safe place while remaining at home in the evenings. Adult Day Centers provide needed comfort for participants, family members and caregivers.
NADSA advances the national development, recognition and use of adult day services. They provide a coordinated program of professional and compassionate supervised services for adults in a safe place outside the home during the day. In fact, family caregivers who use adult day services are at reduced risk of illness, according to recent research. NADSA members include adult day center providers, associations of providers, corporations, educators, students, retired works and others interested in working to build better lives for adults in adult day programs every day.
